THE BILL COLEMAN BAND is regarded as one of the most popular groups in Southern California. Reviewed as polished and professional by San Diego Weddings Magazine, the Bill Coleman Ensemble is known for its ability to perform a wide variety of ambient music styles, including traditional and Lites Out jazz, show tunes, pop standards, Latin jazz rhythms, and contemporary jazz favorites!

Led by guitarist Bill Coleman, The Bill Coleman Ensemble has performed for a host of corporate and private clients, including the opening ceremonies of the San Diego Opera, and Bill Clinton’s 1992 Inaugural Ball. Coleman himself has appeared on stage with Bob Hope, the Smothers Brothers, the Lennon Sisters, Lawrence Welk, Burl Ives, Mickey Rooney, Patti Page, Diahann Carroll, and the late Nell Carter.


The LORI BELL ENSEMBLE features Grammy nominated flutist, Lori Bell, and specializes in traditional, contemporary and Latin jazz, and classical melodies. With a host of credits that include headlining at the Annual National Flute Association Gala, and the Kennedy Center’s Women in Jazz Festival, this Brooklyn born artist is known in Los Angeles music circles as “San Diego’s best kept secret.”

An instructor of Flute at San Diego State University’s School of Music and Dance, Lori can also be heard on Grant Levin’s 2007 CD, Grant Wishes, which has met with critical acclaim since its release. Lori’s own CDs featuring both self composed selections and fresh arrangements of classic melodies can be found on the Beezwax Record label.


LORI ANDREWS is a gifted, energetic performer who takes the harp beyond tradition and into the elements of jazz, fusion, and R&B. With 7 CDs to her credit, Lori has performed for Presidents Clinton and Ford, the King and Queen of Spain, and such celebrities as Barbra Streisand, Frank Sinatra and Clint Eastwood.

Winner of the Jazziz Reader’s poll for Best Harpist, Lori’s ensemble has been featured at numerous jazz festivals throughout the nation, and has backed a variety of entertainers, including Richard Dreyfuss, Helen Hunt, Ashley Judd, Anne Heche, and Charlize Theron. The Lori Andrews JazHarp Quartet is the house band every year at the Academy Awards Technical Achievement Presentation. Additionally, Lori’s TV and movie credits include Beaches, In the Line of Fire, The Tonight Show, Mambo Kings, Drew Carey, Ally McBeal, and MAD TV.


Available as a trio or quartet, PACIFICA JAZZ melds the hot licks, syncopated rhythm, and cool riffs of jazz into the ideal blend of ambient enhancing music. Perfect as background for networking and conversation, the group features only Southern California’s finest musicians, and is led by Bud Shryock, who has studied and played with such jazz luminaries as Peter Sprague, Chick Corea, and Butch Lacy.

HAT TRICK is one of Southern California’s most requested contemporary jazz groups, offering Lites Out jazz covers of such notable performers as Lee Ritenour, Chick Corea, Acoustic Alchemy, The Rippington’s, and Santana.

Since their debut in 1994, they’ve provided instrumental melodies for such corporate giants as Mobil, AT&T, NASCAR, Disney, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Taco Bell, as well as for Presidents Bill Clinton and Gerald Ford, actor Michael Douglas and singer, Juice Newton. The group’s unplugged sound appeals not only to the jazz afficionado, but also to the guest who wishes to simply relax and enjoy quality live music.


Award winning guitarist, DAN PAPAILA has been compared to guitar legend Wes Montgomery. Specializing in an eclectic mix of styles, including Blues, Jazz, R&B, and Latin rhythms, he is the recipient of a San Diego Music Award in the category of Best Mainstream Jazz Album, for “Positively,” which also topped the charts at #11 on national radio.

A feature at some of Southern California’s finest resorts, Dan has performed with numerous jazz and blues greats over the years, including Big Joe Turner, Percy Mayfield, Big Mama Thorton, Diane Schuur, Herbie Hancock, Dave Benoit, Sheila E and Frankie Laine.


RUBY BLUE is San Diego’s premier acoustic Jazz group. Their sound is that of classic jazz with a personal touch that makes each song fresh and modern. Songs by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Rogers and Hart, and George Gershwin mark their repertoire, as well as original compositions rooted in the tradition of fine jazz.

Elegant and upscale, the group is led by veteran performer Ruby Presnell, whose show business experience includes television commercials, feature films and studio work. Ruby’s uniquely powerful voice melds magnificently with her sensual stage presence, and has landed her engagements with such greats as Etta James, Charles Brown, Buddy Guy, Poncho Sanchez , and the San Diego Symphony.


Relatively new to the San Diego music scene, classical and jazz guitarist, ED FISHWICK offers up a wide variety of Flamenco and Latin melodies. An accomplished musician whose work is highly regarded in local circles, he has played for such notable clients as former United States Ambassador, Paul Boeker, and the President of Bolivia, as well as for numerous corporate and social events. The consummate professional, Ed remains committed to providing the finest quality musicianship possible, served up with equal parts flexibility and reliability.



Master of Music, RON FRESHMAN is one of San Diego’s most credentialed musicians. Having received a B.A. in Music from the University of California Santa Cruz, and a Masters from California State University Northridge, Ron has also studied with some of the most accomplished guitarists in the world, including Ron Purcell, Jorge Morel, Scott Tennant, Pepe Romero and the legendary Andre Segovia.

Ron’s performing credits are as equally impressive, including engagements for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Committee, The Spanish Consulate and the Toronto Guitar Festival. He can also be heard on such film and broadcast recordings as Fear No Evil, The Flamingo Kid, and the daytime drama Days of Our Lives.


Pianist GLENN KRAMER has been playing piano professionally since he was 15 years old! These days, Glenn can be found tickling the ivories at any one of several San Diego, Coronado and La Jolla venues. His repertoire encompasses a variety of styles from Big Band and Jazz Standards, to Classical and Pop, including favorites by notable songwriters as Elton John, Paul Simon, and Billy Joel, to name a few.

Glenn has also arranged several one-hour concerts celebrating the works of such inimitable American composers as George Gershwin, Cole Porter, and Irving Berlin. He has also competed in Paris, and other cities abroad, and has enjoyed acclaim for his album entitled “Serendipity,” featuring classical, and original compositions, and available on CD Baby.


Master Violinist JAMES ZAGAMI iadds beauty and elegance to corporate and social events as one of the region’s most sought after classical soloists. Having served as a Concertmaster for the State Orchestra of Mexico, the Monteverdi Chamber Orchestra, and the Augusta Symphony, James shares his brilliance at various colleges in San Diego, including the University of San Diego, where he continues to teach.



THE PAUL HOLTZ TRIO infuses the artistry and soul of traditional jazz with a fresh new sound! Featuring Paul Holtz on keyboard, Matthew Frigon on guitar, and Art Esposito on bass, the group is as equally at home playing blues, Latin jazz, show tunes, bebop, classic jazz, and swing standards. Perfect for networking receptions, intimate corporate dinners, and private affairs, their extensive repertoire, flexible demeanors, and stellar musicianship is the ideal compliment to any event!

San Diego native, SACHA BOUTROS, captivates audiences with her sultry vocals, on stage grace and exquisite international flair. Possessing a four-octave range, she is well versed in classical music, and can offer up melodies in just about any language, including French, Italian and Spanish.

Though relatively new to the professional music scene, she has already had the pleasure of performing for, opening for, or playing alongside such notable artists as Julio Iglesias, Marvin Hamlisch, Kay Star, Patty Paige, and Herb Jeffries.


MELISSA MORGAN has played the harp for most of her life. Born in Dallas, Texas, she began classical studies at the age of eight with symphony harpist Julia Louise Herrmann, and performed her first solo classical recital when she was twelve. A prolific recording artist, she can be heard on radio and television, in theatre and film scores, and even underwater.

Though usually busy touring and recording, Morgan maintains a steady performance schedule in Southern California. With engagements ranging from corporate dinners to weddings, Melissa Morgan delights audiences with her intriguingly distinctive harp stylings.


INDIGENOUS EARTH blends old world Mediterranean rhythms with familiar Spanish acoustic guitar, keyboard, and native flute melodies through a combination of live play and carefully sequenced synthesized samplings. The result is a stunning array of harmonically and rhythmically intriguing tunes that boast an international flare, including some of the most cutting-edge styles played today. Indigenous Earth is like nothing you’ve heard before, and is a perfect alternative to traditional Jazz and pop melodies.

CAPRICE STRINGS beautifully melds the sounds of violin, viola, and cello into an ensemble that embraces baroque, classical, and contemporary works, from Bach and Mozart to Gershwin and Vangelis.

Since 1985, Caprice Strings has been featured at many of the region’s most reputable venues, including the U.S. Grant Hotel, and prestigious events such as the opening reception for the “Challenger” for Sail America.


MICHAEL FENICK has been entertaining audiences throughout Southern California for over two decades. Having begun his musical studies at the age of 8, he specializes in many musical styles including classical, Latin, Spanish, and bluegrass, and is versatile on both the guitar and mandolin.

Mike has performed professionally with the San Diego Symphony, San Diego Opera, San Diego Chamber Orchestra, the Old Globe Theatre and the National Broadway Tour of the musical Chicago. In addition to performing, Michael Fenick is also an established composer and arranger.


THE FITZPATRICK BAND provides exquisite ambient tunes sure to please any audience.

Led by bassist, Pat Fitzpatrick, The Fitzpatrick Band has been performing in the Southern California region since 1982. The group’s repertoire includes Jazz Standards, Big Band, nostalgic Rock n Roll, Pop, Brazilian, Salsa, and a huge variety of ethnic selections.
