STRING THEORY is a collaborative performance ensemble that combines music, movement, and sculptural long-string installations to turn each performance into a site-specific visual soundtrack. Featuring the Curve Harp or Vertical Harp, each built with brilliant brass wire, the strings of the harp can extend up to 1,000 feet.

Offering original compositions, as well as renaissance and classical fare, String Theory can be used to enhance ambience or to command center stage. Their list of credits includes performances for festivals and special events, and concerts for theaters, museums, and performing arts centers around the globe. Hailed by CBS, CNN and the Chicago Tribune, as doing more than just bringing classical music to an event, String Theory creates unforgettable atmosphere!


PAPA DOO RUN RUN is not just another surf band. Papa Doo Run Run is legendary! The award-winning band offers more than classic rock tunes from the likes of the Beach Boys, Jan & Dean, and other bands of the 60’s & 70’s. They bring to the stage a few hits of their own, including their number one 1975 single, “Be True To Your School,” and selections from their 1985 groundbreaking CD “California Project.”

Playing as many as 200 dates a year across the nation and beyond, Papa Doo Run Run has opened for The Beach Boys, Chicago, Fleetwood Mac, Kenny Loggins, Roy Orbison, Van Halen and the Doobie Brothers, to name a few! The group has also been featured at the Olympics, five Super Bowls, and two Presidential Inaugurations, and for an unprecedented 15 years, was the Celebrity House band at Disneyland!


MARIACHI REAL de SAN DIEGO lead by Pete Gonzalez has won rave reviews and awards from the Mexican community for their world-class artistry. Dressed in traditional costuming, Mariachi Real de San Diego plays traditional Mexican fare from romantic ballads to fervent songs of life and community. A pleasure to hear and a credit to the art, Mariachi Real is top quality in the music industry.


CARIBBEAN STEEL is San Diego’s premiere Steel Drum Band, featuring music of the islands and beyond. From ambient Reggae melodies suitable for background ambience, to fired-up Calypso tunes that can liven up even the most subdued affair, Caribbean Steel is available in a variety of sizes and formats.

Known for its ability to transport listeners to an “Island In The Sun,” Caribbean Steel’s tuneful offerings harmonize perfectly with Southern California’s balmy climate to soothe the soul, and invigorate the senses.


SCOTT WILLIAMS began playing the hammered dulcimer sixteen years ago, after seeing one played at the Renaissance Festival in his home state of Maryland. Upon developing a repertoire of Celtic, folk, colonial, and classical pieces, Scott’s career took off.

Since then, he has played a multitude of national festivals and private engagements, and has recorded three studio albums; The Burning of the Piper’s Hut, The Road to Lisdoonvarna, and Home for the Holidays. Scott performs live, accompanied by professionally sequenced backing tracks featuring mandolin, cello, 12-string guitar, bass, percussion, and harp. This technique enables him to offer a full, orchestrated listening experience, appropriate for both small and large venues.


ROMAN HOLIDAY brings the flavor of old Italy, with its charming peasantry, vivid color, and warm, welcoming people to an event. Known throughout the United States for its inspiring performances at Italian festivals, Roman Holiday could practically be called San Diego’s very own Italian house band. A staple at local street fairs, local happenings and Italian theme events, the group counts among its credits, a cameo in the 20th Century Fox feature film, A Walk In The Clouds, starring Keanu Reeves and Anthony Quinn.

Offering a delightful combination of Italian music, including lively Italian dances, and Italian ballads, as well as popular Italian-American songs, contemporary hits, and even a touch of Italian opera, Roman Holiday has something for everyone, young and old!


SARIRI brings to life the hauntingly beautiful traditional and contemporary instrumentals of South America, with special emphasis on the rich melodies of the Andes Mountains, which incorporate the enchanting sounds of wind, rain, and thunder.

Utilizing traditional, handmade instruments such as Andean panpipes and flutes, including the Bombo, Chajcas, and the 10-string Bolivian Charango, Sariri’s blend of harmonically tuneful musical offerings though perfectly suited for Latin and Native American theme events, also beautifully enhance the ambience for any event.


ETOUFFEE brings the authentic flavor of New Orleans rhythm and blues, and jazz to Southern California. Comprised of seven musicians, singers and dancers, the group is led by New Orleans’ native, Kenny Ard. Ard is a professional musician and teacher who received his Master of Musical Arts Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. He also studied with jazz great Ellis Marsalis.

Kenny Ard and Etouffee delight and inspire audiences with their spicy Cajun musical flair… even providing a mini-show upon request… complete with parade in authentic Mardi Gras costumes, and bead throwing.


LATIN A-GO GO is one of San Diego’s foremost Latin variety bands. Comprised of musicians from all over the world, the group specializes in Latin Jazz, Salsa, and Rhythm & Blues, and Funk.

Led by percussionist, Marc Anthony Vidrio, Latin A-Go Go is no stranger to the city’s thriving jazz scene. The group has played a multitude of popular jazz venues across the region, including Croce’s Cantina, owned and operated by the wife of 1970’s era musician, Jim Croce. Latin A-Go Go is also a special events favorite, with a client list that includes Southwest Airlines and the YWCA.


Guitartist PACO SEVILLA offers up a masterfully played selection of Flamenco melodies, adding a touch Spanish charm to any event. With a life spent dedicated to the Flamenco guitar, Paco has studied with such masters as Paco Pena, Paco de Lucia, and Serranito. He’s worked in Spain with some of Flamenco’s most prestigious artists, and has performed nationally, in such venues as New York’s Lincoln Center, Boston’s Town Hall, and LA’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

A specialist in Flamenco dance accompaniment, Paco’s own dance company, FIESTA FLAMENCO is highly acclaimed. His production, “Noces de Cadiz” has been named one of the top ten dance performances in the city by the San Diego Union Tribune.


JAIME VALLE is without doubt San Diego’s most admired and respected Latin guitarist and bandleader. Specializing in salsa, mambo and the styling of renowned artist, Tito Puente, Jaime’s ensemble and band offer up the flavor of Latin American music, with all of its passion and excitement.

A twenty-year San Diego jazz veteran, Valle has carved out a niche across the Southern/Baja California Landscape with his hard-edged bluesy style and mature, full-bodied riffs reminiscent of the late Wes Montgomery. At work in five or six San Diego venues on a regular rotation, Valle has found his own musical voice. His CD’s, Another World and Round Midnight, are enjoying great popularity in the US, Europe and Japan.


SALSA STEEL, featuring Bill Harris, is San Diego’s most established steel pan group.  A consummate and versatile musician, Bill has performed at the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, and numerous other venues, as well as for audiences of many corporate and private events.  

Specializing in the tenor pan and marimba, Bill combines the sultry flavor of the islands with an impeccable sense of rhythm.  His debut CD, Bill Harris Live, has been gained notoriety throughout the music industry.  With Salsa Steel, featuring Paul Horn, Cecil McBee and Bill Macpherson, Bill whips up Samba, Soca and Reggae rhythms with equal parts flare and style.


The SURFKINGS create an exciting beach party atmosphere with smokin' surf/hot rod hits from the likes of the Beach Boys, The Chantays, and Jan & Dean… 50's rock chart busters from such notable artists as Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, and Chubby Checker… and 60's Rock, Soul, and Rythm & Blues favorites from Sam Cook, James Brown, Marvin Gaye, and The Beatles, to name a few.

Established in 1986, the Surf Kings have performed for a wide range of individual and corporate clients including Fujitsu, Kodak, The Salk Institute, Kelloggs, IBM, American Airlines, Arco, and Toyota. An all male band, the group faithfully recreates the original sound of "Do-Wop" vocal groups, using layered three to four part vocal harmonies to add authenticity. For background music, or to keep the dance floor hopping, the Surf Kings truly are kings of surf music.


JOEL REESE Entertainer, songwriter and recording artist JOEL REESE brings a wide range of music to his shows, including folk, adult-contemporary, Americana, Country, novelty songs, inspiring originals, and instrumentals. He has been called… on more than one occasion… the consummate entertainer.

Living in Tennessee for the past 5 years, Joel has returned to the Southern California region with a newfound sense of musicianship. "Rubbing shoulders with great songwriters and musicians helped to take my craft to the next level. In a town with thousands of people doing what I do, I had to find my voice and niche and polish it, or I would've starved," laughs Joel.

With a voice as smooth as fresh cream on a summer peach, Joel croons the soaring ballads, yet effortlessly adapts to the edgier, livelier country gems. As a soloist for some background Country ambience, or fronting his own dance band, Joel brings authentic Country melodies… and heart to each and every performance.


THE JACKSTRAWS are without a doubt, San Diego’s zaniest, most deliciously wild band of musicians! Offering oodles of theme-oriented melodies, the band frolics their way through each vocal and instrumental selection with world-class harmonies and masterful musicianship. Costumed in accordance with any theme The Jackstraws offer an acoustic salute to the sea as SHIPS AHOY, a swashbuckling revue with MARITIME MERRIMENT, and homage to America in their PATRIOTIC REVUE.


THE DAVID PATRONE ENSEMBLE features music from the golden age of radio, including songs performed by such greats as Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, Tony Bennett, Louis Armstrong, Louis Prima, Mel Torme, Bobby Darin, and more!

A popular talent in the San Diego region, David Patrone brings to each song a style that combines the lyrical phrasing of Sinatra with the sultry jazz flavoring of Harry Connick Jr. Boasting a resume of credits that includes such venerable hotspots as Stingaree, Dizzy’s, and Humphrey’s Half Moon Inn, Patrone and his ensemble breathe life into the classics.
