Anthony and Alex welcome Jennifer Minzey and Stephen La Rue, two incoming students pursuing their Master’s degree in Meeting and Event Management at SDSU’s L. Robert Payne School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. They are about to begin a 22-month journey that could have a career changing impact, building their knowledge, challenging themselves, and preparing for whats next in their careers!
They talk about what motivated them to pursue the program, their experiences in events, what they hope to improve, their biggest concerns, and what they hope to gain along the way.
Then, to wrap up the episode, the group takes on the Acronym Gym – a mix of 10 acronyms from business, pop culture, and of course, the event industry.
