This week on Bollotta-FIDE, Anthony and Alex are joined by San Diego singer-songwriter and guitarist Dakota Ringer!
DAKOTA RINGER has been making his mark on the San Diego music scene for over 18 years! Born and raised in East County San Diego, Dakota discovered his love for music at just five years old while singing in his church choir. From there, his passion only grew as he explored piano, guitar, drums, musical theatre, and eventually songwriting.
Today, Dakota fronts the popular local band The Naked I, which has earned multiple San Diego Music Award nominations. Throughout his career, he’s performed at some of San Diego’s most well-known venues, including the House of Blues, Balboa Theatre, The Music Box, and The Casbah.
And he’s certainly been keeping busy! This October alone, his performance calendar included 17 dates, with appearances at:
- The Piazza in Little Italy
- Omni La Costa
- San Diego Safari Park
- L’Auberge
- Fleming’s
With a repertoire of over 400 cover songs and experience in everything from pop and soul to rock and musical theatre, Dakota brings an impressive range of talent to every performance!
Whether performing solo with his loop pedal or rocking out with a full band, Dakota’s musical versatility, years of experience, and passion for entertaining make him a perfect fit for this week’s Bollotta Artist of the Week!
